A good many people tend to put their careers on the back burner a little bit during the summer and let other priorities come to the fore in the hot months. So remember: a lot of how pleasant one's work experience is depends on one being smart enough to MAKE it pleasant. And a lot of the misery in our work experiences, if misery be there, is due to our NOT being smart enough to make it pleasant. Being armed with a little knowledge can make life a lot easier at work...and everywhere else.
