Tax Form Delays
We get a good many people coming in or calling about tax forms, as the Chippewa Falls Public Library is part of the Tax Forms Outlet Program. This year, however, it looks like some of the forms will be delayed. We got this note from the IRS:
"Late Delivery of Instructions 1040--ALL and Instructions 1040A
"Instructions 1040--ALL and Instructions 1040A were released for printing and distribution on Jaunary 6, 2011. The impact of this is that these products may not arrive at your location until late January 2011. We are working with our printing partners to have these Instructions delivered to you as soon as possible."
It isn't like the IRS to be inefficient, so we'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Tax Forms Arriving
Heads up, Chippewa! 1040 EZs have just started to arrive. By the middle of the month, most of our federal forms should be here.
When you come into the library, take an immediate right and then a left. We keep the forms under the stairs. State forms haven't gotten here yet, but I'll keep you updated.
In the meantime, if you want tax forms, you can download and print them at these sites:

Wisconsin Department of Revenue--Forms and Publications--Note: 2011 forms are not uploaded yet.
